At this practically fixed exchange rate, the cost of living in A meal in a restaurant such as pub, usually costs about 6 euros per person, wine included. For connoisseurs and gourmets, the top restaurants in big towns offer a fine Bulgarian and international cuisine, as well as seafood on the seashore. Though higher than elsewhere in the country, the bill would be nothing compared to Western Europe. In stores, a good country wine would cost about 3 to 6 euros. In restaurants, count it 6 euros for a good bottle. Be careful in spa centers! As they are crowded of tourists, prices trend to be much higher. Getting a taxi is cheap too, less than 50 cents per kilometer. But don’t take just any taxi! Cabs not identified with the name of a company will cost you much more. |
